arachnid scorpion stinger
What is the difference between the scorpions and spiders?

When I can classify a spider and a scorpion or spider? For example, the spider camel spider or a scorpion, and why? Maybe a scorpion a scorpion without a sting? All scorpions Solifugae because hide the sun, such as wind scorpions and red Roman (as we call in South Africa)? I am very confused about the taxonomy of these types of arachnids. Then someone please explain further?

First, understand that all spiders have chelicerae (Appendix that change for food), no real mouth parts, eight legs and pedipalps, and two body segments. In total, there are 11 different arachnid groups, approximately half the species of spider species of spiders. Some of the best known groups are spiders, scorpions, harvestmen (also known as Papa legs long), ticks and mites, but there windscorpions, pseudoscorpions, whipscorpions, whipscorpions tickspiders shorttailed whipscorpions top and tail. Spiders "knife" type of chelicerae with a spouse and ending with a very sharp point (hooks). Almost all spiders can inject venom with their fangs, but the elite can not course (the primitive suborder Mesothelae not poison, for example). They also the ability to produce silk strings in your abdomen (and some of his feet too!), Where no one else can arachnids. Moreover, most spiders do not have a segmented abdomen, but the belly is a single block (sub-Mesothelae original order is the exception, again). Scorpions have three segments pinch chelicerae chelate type of theft of food to share. They also have a segmented abdomen all ending with a long sting armed tail (called telson). The pedipalps of scorpions are modified claws like a crab. Scorpions also have sensory organs at the bottom called Pecten that resemble small combs purposes. In addition, all scorpions give birth to live young rather than laying eggs. Sun Alias Wind scorpions scorpions, spiders sun spiders, camel and all, are neither spiders nor scorpions, but they belong to his own band called Solifugae. They are closer to spiders scorpions, however, because they have the scissor chelicerae, which is similar to scorpions, and the segmented abdomen similar to scorpions. The chelicerae are in solifugates long and powerful creatures that one of the strongest bite by size in the animal kingdom. The pedipalps of solifugates are very long and are used as antennae of insects. arachnid black widow
Is this a spider bite?

Yesterday, my mom was bitten by a small, black, shiny insect/arachnid/whatever on the middle finger of her right hand. It was hiding in a fir tree in the back of our yard. Her middle finger is really swollen now and the lower part of her ring and pointer fingers are too. There is one puncture mark, so we don’t think it was a black widow.
She described the bug as like a wingless wasp or a great big ant or something. We live in North Carolina.
Could it have been an assassin beetle? Or a brown recluse?
Thank youuu

This is not a bite from a brown recluse,(you don’t have them)
But could easily be a common spider bite.
This is probably harmless, and your mom will likely be just fine.
Some people have low tolerance to venomous bites/stings, resulting
in excess swelling.
If any systemic reactions are noticed, like sweating, nausea, cramps,
or respiratory stress, she should seek medical attention.
otherwise, ice would be the best treatment, and this should clear
up within a couple or few days.
