What is the strongest Insect, arachnid, etc?

In a combination of all of the freaky creepy crawlies, which one is the ultimate predator? My guess would be the praying mantis or some kind of poisonous spider. But I really don’t know much about insects.

Hmmm, seems your question has two meanings.

You are asking which creature is the best predator, not which one can lift or drag the most weight, am I correct?

In this case, I go with African killer bees. There is no known animal that will willingly go near their hives (except for humans with significant protection). And they can catch and kill enemies many times larger than themselves with swarming tactics and will pursue for dozens of meters before giving up.
